The deep brown wood of this instrument has a striking linear figure that catches
and reflects the light. The top has a dark stripe in the cedar that complements
the darkness of the sides and back.
The sound is woody – mellow and full. It is quite a loud instrument,
but still with good sustain, and with a dynamic range that allows it to be driven
hard.
